Alaska Food Safety State Requirements

Voluntary with local requirements. To qualify for Alaska's Food Establishment Recognition Program, restaurants must have one certified food manager present during each shift. Food service facilities with a "documented inability to maintain safe and sanitary food handling practices" must have a certified manager present during each shift.
